Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz will succeed Gov. Tim Kaine of Virginia, and serve as chair of the Democratic National Committee. In choosing Wasserman Schultz, President Obama expressed his admiration for her tenacity, her strength and her fighting spirit. Her job as DNC chair is to make money—a lot of it! With 2012 rapidly approaching, it is now Wasserman Schultz’s job to make sure, not only the President gets re-elected, but Democrats are able to retain the Senate and snatch back the House of Representatives.
