"Can I Live" --- Obama Gets No Credit On Foreign Policy /

"Where dey do that at?" |
Democrats in Congress are wildly upset because of the Republicans’ unwillingness to give Obama credit for the progress he has made in respect to national security. Well, it’s no surprise that Republicans refuse to TOAST to the fact that Obama has been able to keep our nation safe by using limited force and skillful diplomacy. Remember: it was Republicans who, during the 2008 campaign, tried to paint the then-senator as incompetent when it came to foreign policy (and pretty much everything else). The truth is that President Obama has had more foreign policy success than any other president in our recent history. So in honor of this president’s stellar foreign policy record, we’ve decided to put together a short videologue, detailing just a few of the President’s international accomplishments.
1. Ending the war in Iraq
2. Killing of Osama bin Laden
3. Capture of Moammar Ghaddaffi
4. Death of al-Qaeda's No. 2 leader Atiyah abd al-Rahman
President Obama’s swift and rational thinking has proven successful in his international dealings. As a supporter, it makes me wonder how an “inexperienced” community organizer was able to take the reins of our foreign policy and succeed in accomplishing what two other presidents have failed to do. It is painful to watch Mitt Romney (Obama’s likely challenger in 2012) try to de-legitimize this president by saying he is in “way over his head,” when his domestic policies make far more sense than the “999” tax and his foreign policies have allowed for the U.S. to kill the most wanted man on earth right inside of his own home. Are Republicans that out of touch? Click on ‘comment’ and weigh in.
