XFACTOR: R.Kelly Performs 'I Believe I Can Fly' w/ Melanie Amaro /
Last night, I was speaking to one of our West Coast correspondents when she interrupted me. She said, “I’m sorry, I have to interrupt you because R. Kelly and Melanie Amaro are bringing down the house on X-Factor.” Well, I’m normally not a fan of the X-factor or American Idol—we’re loyal to our NBC friends and we’ll be tuning into ‘The Voice’ on Feb. 5. But I decided to watch the duo’s rendition of ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ and unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed. Both sounded great, but not amazing. Melanie was pretty shaky and Kelly sounded vocally caged in his attempt to not outshine the aspiring singer. What’s the word though? What do you guys think? Comment below.
