10 Ways to Feel Great Every Day! /

Contrary to popular belief, even with a sufficient amount of sleep at night most people will still wake up groggy and fatigue.  Maybe you didn’t get enough of sleep, or perhaps something happened in your life that caused you to fall into a state of depression.  Whatever the case may be, there is always a solution—every day may not be good, but there’s something good in every day. Here are 10 ways to feel great, have more energy and perhaps even live longer:

-Make someone’s day.
At the end of the day, that’s what we’re here for. Grab a stranger just to say something nice.  Tell the man on the bus that you like his suit or the woman on the train that you love her hair.  A compliment goes a long way, not only will it make that person smile but it’ll make you feel good on the inside.

-Thirsty? Choose Water.

Keep your body hydrated by adding cups of water to your daily intake.  Being dehydrated makes you feel lethargic while water restores energy that the body is missing.  Doctors say two 8-ounce glasses of water are good antidotes for a morning drag.

-Scarf down a candy bar or two.
Sometimes, having a candy bar is the best way to make it through the day.  Just make sure your candy of choice has little calories and sugar so you won’t come crashing down 45 minutes later.

-Get into good habits.
Go to bed at the same time every day. Exercise every day. Brush your teeth before bed every night. These are great ways to help maintain better habits. Get into a routine and stick to it!
-Meditate.
Believe it or not, daily meditation helps you to feel happier, be calmer and get along better with other people. We are often so busy, that we feel there is never any time to stop and meditate.  But it is a must that we start! Meditation actually gives you more time by making your mind calmer and more focused.
-Think Positive.
We all know that positive thoughts make for a peaceful and less irritable life.  It all starts with our mind.  If you wake up in a terrible mood, close your eyes and then visualize the day going smoothly.  Thinking positive will help break you free from negativity and empower your life.

-Take hot steamy baths not showers.
The sound of this actually makes me feel great! A bath about thirty minutes before bed improves your sleep, researchers say. Soaking in a hot bath is a great way to relax while helping your body detox.  Bubble baths are also good for skin and can help ease your tension.

-Get a hobby.
This should be easy. Hobbies provide a distraction from the pressurized part of people’s lives.  Researchers say that people who have a hobby or two are more relaxed and less irritable. Discover a hobby and say goodbye to your boring life.

-Keep moving.
Simply walking back and forth to your mailbox, taking a jog before lunch or doing moderate exercises throughout the week substantially reduce the risk of heart disease. Keeping yourself busy and proactive will have you feeling better than ever. Sedentary people almost double their risk of developing coronary artery disease.

-Have frequent sex.
Yes, I said it! Sex boosts circulation, counteracts stress, and improves health and happiness.  I could go on and on. Did I mention, it can cure headaches too?  Sexually active people take fewer sick leaves, are more gregarious, and enjoy life more.

Happy Day,
