Four years ago today, Senator Barack Obama stood in front of a packed audience to deliver his victory speech in Iowa. The then-senator bested Hillary Clinton during the 2008 Iowa caucus. What a nostalgic feeling to think back to that moment in history where it seemed the entire world had rallied behind Barack Obama. Today, many of us find ourselves questioning whether this president has delivered on all that he promised in 2008. Despite the political stalemate in Congress and Republicans’ attempts to clip him up at every angle, the president has, in fact, managed to accomplish everything that he imagined in his 2008 victory speech to Iowans.
