Stop Online Piracy Act Threatens to Shut Down Your Favorite Streaming Sites -- Youtube, Anyone? /
I'm normally a pro-government kind of person, however, this bill, if passed, would be a complete an absolute overreach by the U.S. Congress. Personally, I don't think it has a chance of becoming law and here's why: #1 The FCC (Federal Communications Commission) doesn't have the man power to enforce regulation of the Internet. #2 Google, Facebook, Youtube--the online industry has become so powerful because so many other powerful organizations have come to rely on it. The way our democracy works--Mark Zuckerburg could probably buy every vote in Congress. In other words, this bill is already dead!
