Hollywood was flabbergasted last night when American Idol host Ryan Seacrest announced that an AI favorite, Pia Toscano, had received the least amount of America’s votes. Toscano ascended to the top 12 by nailing vocal renditions of hits like “All By Myself”—a song popularized by big voiced diva, Celine Dion. Our Idol insiders tell us that during the commercial break, audience members were demanding a recount. Celebrities like Oscar-winner Tom Hanks and Jersey Shore’s Snooki took to their twitter—denouncing last night’s vote:
Snooki: “Pia should have won the whole thing! I’m not watchin’ Idol anuymore. I’m with JLO on this one”
Tom Hanks: “Don’t have an IDOL habit, but how could the USA vote Pia off? I may be done for the season!”
Ashton Kutcher: “Who are the people that vote on American idol? That’s just crazy! That Pia girl is dope! #almost criminal”
Jessica Alba: "Who’s mad about Pia? I think she’s got a promising career ahead of her. Girl can sing her butt off and she’s stunning.”
