Victoria's Secret Supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio Struts at 5 Mos. Prego /
Nothing can stop Alessandra Ambrosio from hitting the runway, not even her five-month old baby bump. The very popular Victoria's Secret angel ( from Brazil) stole the show this past Sunday while on the runway for Colcci's Fall 2012 collection at Sao Paulo Fashion Week.
Colcci, a Brazillian fashion company, had an amazing collection! I watched the video about 10 times in order to get a full look at the entire collection. Here, Ambrosio sported a variety of looks but my personal fav was the opening number: the knit sweater, leather trim shorts & pumps! Simply Effortless! The red lip was the perfect compliment to her sun-kissed glow. She stole the show with that opening strut! Check out the video from the runway show below:

Lil Wayne Launches Clothing Line : TRUKFIT /
Lil Wayne has taken his skateboard hobby to the next level! He's recently been traveling cross- country, unveiling his new clothing line, Trufkit, which stands for "The Reason You Kill For It." The name of his line initially threw me off until I understood the full meaning of the acronym. It's so.. "Wayne"! I'm just happy his line didn't include his famous "too-tight for any man" jeggings (LOL). No seriously, I love the positive message behind the acronym (assuming he doesn't mean 'kill' literally) which I think is important, considering his influence on our youth. Get into the promo video & photos below. The models were in really cool metallic silver body paint, TRUKFIT caps, t-shirts, accessories and even Beats by Dre headphones. I thought they looked cool! Swiss Beatz & Carmelo Anthony Talk Fashion With Haute Living Mag /
Swiss Beatz sat down with the talented Carmelo Anthony to talk fashion (amongst other topics). I wasn’t surprised to see Melo name drop both classic & trendy designer favorites like Yves Saint Laurent & Thom Browne. In a recent interview with GQ, Carmelo also expressed Rag & Bone as a personal favorite. Carmelo has a great stylist (Ms. Khalil Williams-Webb) and obviously a true sense of personal style. There’s no denying, the 6’8 athlete is one well-dressed man!
Here’s a small excerpt from the interview with Haute Living magazine, where Carmelo speaks to what fashion means to him:
SB: We all know that you’re into fashion. What does [fashion] mean to you? What brands do you look out for that you can get your best look [from]?
CA: Fashion depends on the individual, whatever the individual is feeling that day, that’s [his or her] own self, [his or her] own fashion. You call yourself “The Renaissance Man,” I have a [classic], edgy style but with some new school too. My old uncles, they always tell me I have a ‘60s soul. For the most part I wear Yves Saint Laurent, Thom Browne, Simon Spurr. They’re some of the companies that are up-and-coming, some of the edgy companies that I am really rocking with right now!
There's something very special about a man with a sense of style. It really does something for a girl like me! I'm in love!

The latest men’s sneaker to release for Spring 2012 is the premium Christian Louboutin Nono Flat. This black jazz calf mid- top sneaker seem to have the more simplistic man of style in mind. In my opinion, these are semi "dry" when compared to the previous Louboutin sneaker but , I still kind of like the wallaby-esque footwork! I can see professional men adding this pair of sneaks to their "classic" closets.

Tom Ford Gives Men A Lesson On Summer Fashion /
Well respected designer, Tom Ford covers the spring/summer issue of Another Man Magazine and gives a little lesson to the "men"
Inside the issue he said:
“A man should never wear shorts in the city. Flip-flops and shorts in the city are never appropriate. Shorts should only be worn on the ... beach”
I’m pretty sure that Tom Ford was referring to Manhattan when he said "the city," and with that in mind I would have to disagree agree (for more practical reasons). Let’s be real, people. With all of the potholes, piss and subway vomit, flip flops are just not the best choice of footwork for a day in the city. And for my grown and sexy guys living in D.C., this rule applies to you, too. There is nothing like seeing a stylish man in a pair of Prada sandals, but keep it on the beach.
