Our favorite Sex and the City girl is coming to primetime television! However, don’t get too excited. Sarah Jessica Parker will not be reuniting with the gang this go round. Instead, the series will be based on Sex and The City author Candace Bushnell’s prequel book, The Carrie Diaries. Basically, the book follows the young Carrie pre-success.
Hmm, The sound of this has already grabbed my attention.
The show will surround Carrie Bradshaw in the early 1980s during her senior year of high school as she inquires about love, sex, friendship and family while juggling the worlds of high school and the busy Manhattan.
There is no word yet on when the show will premiere and who will actually be playing the fictional fashionista—although it has been rumored that Blake Lively may be giving it a shot!
We’re at least hoping that the originals will make a cameo!
Michelle Williams is showing off her sexy side in next month’s issue of GQ Magazine and we love it! I must say, she definitely exudes Marilyn-esque sex appeal in this spread. I would have never guessed that the My Week With Marilyn star had it in her. Clearly, her sexiness in the recent years have been under-emphasized.
During her Golden Globe acceptance speech, she shared how she was a mother first and an actress second, which explains why we may have never seen this sultry side of Williams before.
Inside the GQ interview, the normally private actress opened up about everything from her daughter Montana’s upbringing to her days on Dawson’s Creek. She even goes on to talk about the death of her late partner, actor Heath Ledger and why she doesn’t show off her sexiness. Williams said,
"I wouldn't say that that would be one of my first qualities as a human being -- being sexy. And I think because my character on Dawson's Creek was sexy... sexualized... sexual... I saw all the negative attention and connotations that can come along with that. And that those things can keep people from seeing you clearly."
This February issue of GQ is set to hit newsstands January 24.
Actress and wife of Robin Thicke, flaunts her toned body in the January 2012 issue of GQ Magazine. Paula Patton, who stars alongside Tom Cruise in new movie Mission: Impossible –Ghost Protocol, opens up about her relationship, reflects on doing physical stunts in the blockbuster saga and shows off her effortlessly amazing body inside GQ. I find it hard to believe that the 36-year-old actress gave birth to son Julian Fuego just last year with this sexy photo spread. Here’s what Paula had to say in a recent interview:
“It was quite a bit of training, especially because I’d just had my son five months prior so as you can imagine, I wasn’t in tip-top shape,” said Paula.
“It wasn’t just about the outward appearance, which of course got affected, but it was about being able to do these stunts.”
In this new movie, Paula plays a spy who gives Jerry Maquire star Tom Cruise a run for his money! The action spy film hits theatres tomorrow, December 21st.
