Open Mic Night Returns to Pure Lounge On U st. In Washington, D.C. /
On Jan. 30 The Secret Society presents “Grey Day,” the return of Pure Open Mic Night. “Grey Day” will serve as a sign of unity in D.C. So in addition to the open mic portion where up and coming artists can develop and refine their skills, there will also be a showcase with Uptown XO performing with Go-Go band X.I.B. as well as other special guests that will be in attendance. The same energy that has been prevalent in the Go-Go scene is now being seen in the D.C. Hip-Hop scene and the new Pure Open Mic Night is where these powerful forces will come together. Join the Secret Society as they celebrate the rich history of hip-hop on U St., and usher in a new era of hip-hop in Washington, D.C.
