T2T Premiere: In An Attempt to Stay Relevant, Madonna teams up with Nicki Minaj, Again on 'I Don't Give A' /

I normally love Madonna, but lately I've been getting the feeling that her music has been forced and in many ways reflects a desperate attempt by the reigning queen of pop to remain relevant--even after almost 40 years of relevancy. This is where I believe legends ruin their legacy. Madonna has never been a vocalist like say, Celine Dion or the late great Whitney Houston--she has managed to remain relevant all these years because of her image and her ability to push the boundaries. But lately, with the exception of the Super Bowl, when I see her I get the feeling that she's not acting her age (she has to be pushing 60). The way she's clinging to artists like Nicki Minaj and M.I.A is almost devastating to watch. Even with massive promo her singles are still under-performing on the charts. That doesn't mean that people don't still love and adore Madonna, it just means that her time has passed and from a career standpoint, I think it's best she realized that. Stick to special concerts or do a Vegas run, performing some your many hits.Your thoughts?

Really, Madge! Rapping? Madonna's new album 'MDNA' will be released on March 24.

Oprah Outdoes Herself: Media Mogul To Sit Down With Whitney Houston's Family /

Here are some additional scenes from Oprah's interview with the Houston family. Thanks, Showbiz 411!

The full interview airs this Sunday on the OWN channel. Oh yea, and to all the haters suggesting Oprah was somehow wrong for booking this interview--lighten up! Oprah has proven herself over and over, a true, genuine, kind-hearted person, as well as a friend to the Houston family. The hate that I see being thrown at someone who has used their entire career to help others is wrong and disrespectful. This generation of folks who hide behind computers in order to spew out hate has become sickening.

Behind the Scenes w/ the Late Great Whitney Houston On the Set of 'Sparkle' (Footage Inside) /

It's been nearly a week since Whitney Houston was laid to rest in Newark, NJ and the media has been relentless in their pursuit of the pop icon's personal life. From her family to her finances, speculations have consumed the death of Whitney Houston just as it did for Micheal Jackson. But the footage of Whitney, released by Entertainment Tonight, shows a different Whitney than the drunken, suicidal character that we see being portrayed in the tabloids. In this footage (below) of Whitney on the set of Sparkle (Aug. 2012) we see a woman that had done it all, been through it all and was, nevertheless, plowing ahead. Watch Whitney give an accapella performance of one of her favorite spirituals, Jesus Loves Me. Though her voice had changed dramatically, you still get that tingle down the back of your neck--that tingle that only Whitney could give you.

Monica Pays Tribute to Legendary Whitney at Concert! /

Monica paid tribute to the late Whitney Houston live on stage at a concert in Connecticut earlier this week. As her fans sung along to You Give Good Love, the singer appeared visible upset but still managed to blare out the song gracefully in honor of her mentor and beloved friend.

Take a peek below.
