Editor's Pick: Chris Brown feat. Tank - 'F**k the City Up' /

I've always said that Chris Brown had some smooth singing chops, but Tank comes on this song shuts it all the way down vocally. Still #teamBreezy though!

T2T Premiere: Nicki Minaj feat. Chris Brown- 'Right By My Side' /

#ILike. Though I hate the fine line that she walks between hip-hop and pop, I do really like the song. It kind of reminds me of a Katy Perry song featuring Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj. Check it out below:

Breezy takes one for the team with this one. He lays it flat out on the table. I can appreciate the honesty behind the song, but Chris, stick to singing.

chris brown fortune Chris Brown Unveils Fortune Cover & Release Date
I am assuming that the album cover has "fortune" spelled out in many different languages. The simplistic creativity behind the album cover art is dope! Kudos Chris, can't wait to hear the album!

Chris Brown, Pitbull & Ne-Yo Rock NBA halftime show (Video Inside) /

Once again, Chris Brown shuts the scene down with his performance of 'Turn Up the Music.' Ne-Yo, unfortunately, gave a pretty underwhelming performance-vocally (even though I love that song). And Pitbull was full of energy, like always. Overall, 2012's NBA All Star game produced one of the worst half-time shows I've seen. It would have been far more interesting had Chris Brown received more stage time. I mean, out of the three, no one denies that Brown is the one guaranteed to hold your attention.

Recently, Chris Brown was spotted by TMZ cameras dancing happily to ex Rihanna's hit single 'We Found Love.' The R&B/pop singer is even seen blushing as the intro to the song boomed throughout the club.

Everybody Hates Chris: Chris Brown Reminds Us Why We Hate ... Chris Brown? /

When rumors started to surface about Rihanna featuring Chris Brown on her song Birthday Cake—I thought it would never happen. Well, it did. Late last night, both Chris Brown and Rihanna released remixes to their latest songs: Rihanna—Birthday Cake and Chris Brown—Turn Up the Music—and both Brown and Rihanna had the guts to feature each other on their latest tracks, even after Rihanna’s face was disfigured by Brown during a 2009 domestic dispute.
Truthfully, I could care less about Chris Brown’s appearance on Rihanna’s song; however Rihanna’s appearance on Brown’s song could very well end up backfiring on her. So many people flocked to Rihanna when they saw her bruised and battered face back in 2009. People wanted to show their consolation and as a result bought her records—radio stations began spinning her tracks just a little more than they used to. Let’s face it; Rih Rih’s career got new life breathed into it after that unfortunate incident. So many people began hating Chris Brown for Rihanna, despite not knowing what really happened that night after the Grammys. I understand how those same people now feel betrayed by the pop star. I, too, felt bad for Rihanna at the time, but the difference between me and many of the singer’s fans is that I never hated Chris Brown. In my eyes the incident was a personal dispute that played out in public. It was ill-fated, but it still didn’t take away from the extraordinary talent that Chris Brown has—therefore, I didn’t judge him.
Brown’s situation may be a little better than Rih’s, but not that much. I mean Chris, you just came out of a career slump. Your image had been tarnished for so long because of this Rihanna situation. Watching your numerous appearances in that L.A. courtroom caused many to label you ‘the villain.’ Just recently, you managed to shake that image—you snagged a Grammy and your album is one of the most anticipated of the year. You asked for forgiveness and the public gave it to you. Why on earth would you want to remind us of that horrible night by appearing on your “victim’s” song? This morning, the image of Rihanna’s disfigured face dominated the news and the blogesphere—reminding the world of why we hate Chris Brown.

2011 BET Awards: Kevin Hart Hosts, Chris Brown Leads And Trina Gets Snubbed /

So, early in the A.M., a press release came blasting through my Blackberry and I was pleasantly surprised at what I saw--BET's biggest night would be hosted by America's funny man, Kevin Hart. The list of this year's BET Award nominees definitely has its highs, but unfortunately there are an equal number of lows. We were happy to see that Chris Brown led the pack of nominees with a whopping six nominations, including Best Male R&B and Video of the Year. After a rocky two years, we're happy to see Brown back on top. Following Chris Brown, is Lil' Wayne with an impressive five nominations (no qualms with that), while Kanye West, Drake and Rihanna pull up his rear with four nods each. Despite the loss of one of their members (M-Bone was gunned down earlier this week), the CaliSwag boys are nominated in the category for Best Group.

Now, here is where things get a little sticky-- R&B diva Beyonce is nominated in the category for Best Female R&B, even though she hasn't released an album since 2009's I AM ... Sasha Fierce. Mind you, this is the same artist who, along with husband Jay-Z, refused to attend last year's award ceremony because of their objection to Chris Brown's invite. It seems like BET is courting the Carters at the expense of other talented artists whom otherwise would have been nominated (Keyshia Cole). Let's just see if hip hop's royal couple grace the red carpet this year ...

Then there is the category of Best Female Hip Hop-- no shade, but I know BET must be furious at themselves for replacing hip hop crooner, Trina with Lola Monroe--a video girl turned rapper. Immediately following the release of the nominees, Trina took to her twitter--tweeting "F**K BET." Besides the occassional HUH?'s, this year's list of nominees is impressive--we can’t wait until the show airs.

The BET Awards will air on BET, Sunday, June 26
