Ann Romney: "I Don't Consider Myself Wealthy" (she could be your next first lady) /


Ann Romney says that being worth $200 million isn't considered wealthy-- okay, okay, okay, that's not really what she said, however it is the way it's being reported. I have to say that liberals have taken Ms. Romney's comments completely out of context. I believe it was a failed attempt to sound normal and un-rich--again, failed attempt. Do I feel sorry for the Romney campaign, for the beating that they're taking as a result of Ann's comment? Nope. Republicans did the same thing to Michelle Obama in 2008. Remember this comment?

An Idiot For An Idiot: Eric Cantor Explains Why He Endorsed Mitt Romney for President /


As if we cared, Eric Cantor finally endorsed a Republican presidential candidate. Early this morning, Rep. Cantor (R-VA) managed to endorse the richest candidate in the race, Mitt Romney ($200 million dollar man)! Cantor explains his decision in the video below.

Obama's Approval Rating Shoots Up, While Republicans Duke It Out For His Job /


If you enjoy seeing Obama's oversized, pearly white smile, there has never been a better time to catch it than now! While Republicans continue going after one another in an attempt to win their party's nomination for president, President Obama sits comfortably at a 50 percent approval rating--up from 43 percent. Obama's upswing has a lot to do with the improving economy. Last month, applications for unemployment fell to a four-year low, the economy expanded by 2.8 percent, and the unemployment rate fell to 8.3 percent--a two-year low. The graph below shows that Obama crushes the competition when put in a head-to-head match up with any of the GOP contenders, including Mitt Romney.

President Obama Launches 'African Americans for Obama' /

Perhaps I'm wrong for this, but I question any black person in this country--Democrat or Republican--who doesn't support this black man for president. I mean, I could see if it were Jesse Jackson or Rev. Al (I love them both, but they're completely out of step with mainstream America), but this man is smart and intelligent, and furthermore, his policies benefit "99 percent" of our country's population. Am I ingnorant for thinking that every black person in America (the descendents of slaves) should support Obama for president? Sound off.

Obama Perpetuates Another Stereotype—All Black People Can Sing … /

On last night, the President attended a fundraiser in Harlem, NY at the Apollo Theatre, where he was the guest of honor. To help raise campaign funds, the DNC enlisted the Rev. Al Green—executor of all baby-making music. Well anyway, President Obama acknowledged how lucky he was—having Green open up for him—by giving a 2-second rendition of one of Green’s classics—surprisingly enough, he actually sounded great! It leads us to wonder, is there anything this man can’t do?
We couldn’t have been the only ones shocked by the President’s pipes?

Mitt Romney Edges Out A Win In Iowa Despite Santorum Surge /


At 12:40 a.m. this morning the race for the Republican nomination for president was still too close to call. There was no surprise that Mitt Romney (left) made it to the final finish, but his challenger was a surprise to everyone outside the state of Iowa. At the last minute, Rick Santorum (right)surged ahead of all of the other GOP candidates to end up on the hems of Romney—who has managed to maintain front runner status since the beginning of the race. The Romney campaign should rightfully claim victory for their win in Iowa, but it would behoove them to acknowledge last night’s real winner—Rick Santorum. For someone like Santorum (who came from single-digit poll numbers) to come that close (eight votes) to beating someone who has managed to hold on to their front-runner status since the beginning of the campaign is the ultimate momentum builder, and that, the Romney campaign should be very afraid of. Take a look at Rick Santorum’s pretty powerful speech last night, before Mitt Romney was named Iowa’s Republican pick.

Mitt Romney spoke shortly after Santorum, giving a very combative and arrogant speech—targeting President Obama.
With unemployment numbers at a two-and-a-half-year low and 20 straight months of private sector job growth—I’m not sure the anti-Obama message that Romney’s spewing is going resonate with many Americans in the general election. Your thoughts?

SSsshhh! Be Quiet! Obama Silences Critics With First-Term Accomplishments /

Four years ago today, Senator Barack Obama stood in front of a packed audience to deliver his victory speech in Iowa. The then-senator bested Hillary Clinton during the 2008 Iowa caucus. What a nostalgic feeling to think back to that moment in history where it seemed the entire world had rallied behind Barack Obama. Today, many of us find ourselves questioning whether this president has delivered on all that he promised in 2008. Despite the political stalemate in Congress and Republicans’ attempts to clip him up at every angle, the president has, in fact, managed to accomplish everything that he imagined in his 2008 victory speech to Iowans. Take a look at the following video & let’s have a conversation.

Many folks would be shocked to know that despite what the political pundits are saying—Obama has delivered on 85 percent of what he promised during his campaign for president. This is important to us because 2012 is going to be an uphill climb— it’s imperative that those who supported in 2008 know the truth about this president’s record. On yesterday, famed CNN journalist Wolf Blitzer sat down with presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich to talk about his chances of winning the Republican nomination. Blitzer forced Gingrich’s hand on questions about his speakership in the U.S. House of Representatives and why his own party describes him as “erratic,” “undisciplined,” and a “train wreck.” For Newt's standards, this was a pretty decent interview. You be the judge!

Stop the Press: John McCain Has Advice on How to Win an Election /

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) has some advice for those in line to challenge the President in 2012. He said that any candidate with skeletons in his or her closet should bring them to the forefront. Be it Haley Barbour’s controversial comments about race, or Sarah Palin’s complete obliviousness to everything—McCain believes that the best way to bury the issue is to take it “head on” and “try to put it behind you.” But wait, with all due respect, Senator—didn’t you lose to Obama in 2008? Should Republicans really be taking advice from you? But, whatever—I’ll toast to that!

Had Wycelf Jean actually been able to run, I'm thinking that he probably would have won. Does that mean that his albums would've read President Wyclef Jean?

And The New DNC Chair Is ... /

Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz will succeed Gov. Tim Kaine of Virginia, and serve as chair of the Democratic National Committee. In choosing Wasserman Schultz, President Obama expressed his admiration for her tenacity, her strength and her fighting spirit. Her job as DNC chair is to make money—a lot of it! With 2012 rapidly approaching, it is now Wasserman Schultz’s job to make sure, not only the President gets re-elected, but Democrats are able to retain the Senate and snatch back the House of Representatives.  After Nancy Pelosi-- she's the trillest!
