President Obama talks About America's Energy Future At the University of Miami /

President Obama says that we need an all-of-the-above strategy when it comes to energy production. He asserts that we cannot rely, strictly on oil production. The President wants to explore wind, solar and nuclear energy sources.

President Obama Sings 'Sweet Home Chicago' With Blues Legend BB King /

We just got a small snippet of an Al Green classic the last time we heard our president bust a note. This time, while singing with B.B. King and Mick Jagger, the president nearly belted the lyrics to Sweet Home Chicago. Surprisingly, the President's pitch and power was dead on, which leads me to believe that he really does practice his singing--when no one's looking!

California Courts Say Prop 8 Unconstitutional, Republican Candidates Respond /

Yesterday, presidential candidate Rick Santorum responded to the California Supreme Court decision to overturn Prop 8 (the law that took away same-sex marriage rights from Californians, after it was already legal there). Somehow Santorum thinks that the courts are ignoring 4,000 years if history (the Bible). Santorum still doesn’t get the fact that his religious history, thoughts and interpretations of the Holy Bible may be different from the next Christian—that in fact it is him who is trying to impose his anti-gay sentiments onto an entire country that overwhelmingly supports marriage equality. In this video, Santorum, no doubt, is speaking from the heart—however, if you take into account the U.S. Constitution and our certain ‘inalienable rights,’ all you can do is shake your damn head at Mr. Santorum.

Michelle Bachmann Is Out, Other GOP Candidates Move On to New Hampshire /

Just a few moments ago, after a troubling defeat, presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann bowed out of the Republican primary. Bachmann received only five percent of the caucus vote last night in Iowa. She gave a weird concession speech that lost me about 10 minutes in—we’ll post when it becomes available. In the meantime enjoy the many lies of Michele Bachmann

President Obama Interrupts Jay Carney White House Briefing /

On yesterday, President Obama interrupted press secretary Jay Carney’s White House briefing to talk about the payroll tax cuts that have been taking up majority of our political space on T2T. Just so you know, the payroll tax cut that President Obama and the Democrats are fighting for would mean the difference of $40 dollars in the paycheck of 160 million American workers—including you! One half of the United States Congress has managed to pass a bill, including the payroll tax holiday extension. The Senate passed a bipartisan bill to extend the tax cuts. But, what did the tea party Republicans in the House of Representatives do? They rejected it—a bipartisan bill that would provide a tax cut to nearly all middle class, working folk. At the press briefing, Obama kept it cool, but he wasted no time attacking Republicans for their political games—telling the press that the stakes are high, but this isn’t “poker.”
