MAC it up... for a cause! /

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced at a press conference last week that The Office of Global Women’s Issues at the Department of State will be teaming up with MAC Cosmetics to battle gender-based violence and further the fight against HIV & AIDS in South Africa.

“We cannot stop the epidemic of HIV unless we address the epidemic of violence against women." Clinton said

100% of proceeds for every MAC Viva Glam lipstick & lip glass are donated to the MAC AIDS fund. The fund just recently donated $2 million to provide medical, legal and psychological services to South Africans.

All Lacquered Up: Deborah Lippmann Spring 2011 Shades /

Celebrity Manicurist, Deborah Lippmann, has just launched two new exclusive shades called 'Glitter in the Air' and 'Naked'.  It's no secret that Deb's been having somewhat of a glitter party from her 2010 collection.  Her 'Glitter in the Air' is inspired by Singer Pink's magical performance at the 2010 Grammy Awards.  Similar to her other glitter shades, they have pink & baby blue hexagonal sequins that float through the cloudy blue.  Naked is a soft, clean beige and is quickly becoming the most sought out lacquer.  This shade is slowly replacing the soft taupes and pale pinks as the new nude for the spring.
